Ohio Caverns

I love Groupon! My friend Megan and I are always finding great deals for adventures around the Dayton area. Two weekends ago we used our Groupon for the Ohio Caverns with our friend Amber and her family and my nephew Spencer.

The day was raining and cold but we made the best of it by exploring the underworld of caves. Luckily it was warming in the caves than it was outside!

  It was great to have the kiddo's along to learn about the stalagmites, stalactites and helactite formations. Spencer and Ean also did a great job of keeping us entertained. Luckily we were at the back of the group.

One of the coolest formations in the caves was the Old Town Pump. It's crazy what mother nature can create.

After the caverns, we headed into town for lunch, chocolate and cheese. while you in the area I would recommend checking out Maries Candies and Blue Jacket Dairy.
