Riley's First Christmas

Riley's First Christmas

This was my niece Riley's first Christmas. She got the cutest Christmas bloomers that said HO HO HO on the back side from her great grandma Alta. We just had to do a mini photo shoot with the bloomers in front of the Christmas tree. Here are some of my favorites:

Superman Christmas Baby

Riley having a conversation with her moose
Max, Keith and Elizabeth's coton poo, had to pose for a picture too! He is so jealous of Riley. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Forever and Always

Kristyn and Tony

Tis the season for love! I had the pleasure of photographing Kristyn and Tony's engagement pictures a few weeks ago. I love the inspiration Kristyn found on Pintrest for her engagement pictures. I had seen this idea before and was looking forward to trying it out in one of my sessions. It's such a festive idea!

The couple are getting married next October in wine country, so we also got to play around with wine and wine glasses!

This is one of my favorites of the session!

We just needed some mistletoe!

It wouldn't be a complete session unless we let Humphrey join in. Look at that cute smile, how can you not resist this puppy dog?

Thank you Kristyn, Tony and Humphrey, I had a great time during our session.

The Gray's

The Gray's at Phillips Park in Beavercreek

Earlier this month I had a great photo session with Megan and Matt Gray and their adorable dogs, Ruby and Bayley.  We went to Phillips Park in Beavercreek. It's a great location with lots of trees, a big red barn and a pond.  Here are some of my favorites!

Ruby and Bayley are huge Cincinnati fans! Love their cute jersey's to show off there Cinci Pride!

Ruby was so cute while we were taking these pictures.  I had her squeaky toy in my pocket and every time I squeezed it she tilted her head a different way.

Phillips Park is going to be one of my new favorite places for portraits. I love this red barn with Megan and Matt's outfit choice. It worked out perfectly! Thanks Megan and Matt, I'm looking forward to our next photo session!

Many Different Faces of Nora

The Many Different Faces of Nora

I had the privileged of photography one of my friends from work daughter a few weeks ago. Let me tell you, she is an absolute doll face. We had a great time getting her to smile and laugh. There were many different songs and toys used to capture these great expressions.

The first few, Nora just wasn't to sure about the camera but I love this pose of her. She could be a baby model for J Crew. Her cute little hand at her side and those giant blue eyes!

Everyone loves sock monkey! Finally starting to see that precious smile starting to show up.
Tim's back yard was great for the photo shoot. There was a nice row of trees in a shaded area which made for a perfect location for Nora's portraits.

We were also able to capture some great candid family pictures that I think will make perfect Christmas Cards and family gifts!
Thanks Tim, Christine and Nora! I had a great time hanging out and photographing the family.

Old Mission Peninsula

Well it's been awhile since I've posted pictures. It's not as easy now that my laptop has crashed and I've having to use my husband Josh's computer to edit pictures. Back in June, my husband and I went to house sit for some friends of ours in Traverse City, Michigan. This is my new favorite place to vacation. It's not to far of a drive from Dayton, Ohio and it's absolutely beautiful.

One of our favorite places to visit while we are in Michigan is the Old Mission Peninsula. It is a great way to spend the day. We started out the day by enjoying wine tasting at Chateau Chantal. My favorite was the Late Harvest Riesling. The view from the vineyard was breath taking looking over the vines of grapes, out to the crystal blue lake.

After enjoying a glass of wine, well really Josh enjoyed his glass of wine, out on the balcony, we headed to grab a bit to eat at Peninsula Grill. It was very tasty and not crowded for lunch.

Once our tummies were full, we head to Mission Point Lighthouse to do some exploring.  The water here is amazing. At times you can not tell where the horizon line reaches the water.

This trip we had perfect blue sky's which allowed for some great images of the lighthouse.

Also on site is the Hessler Log Cabin and walking trails that you can explore at your own pace. We have yet to venture out on these trails.

All in all, it was a fantastic day exploring the peninsula and I look forward to our next Michigan adventure!

Riley Katherine

My Beautiful new baby niece Riley Katherine!

Two weeks ago, my gorgeous niece Riley was born.  She is already one stubborn little girl, making us wait two extra days to meet her.  And of course, her uncle, Josh, and I had planned to leave for vacation the day she was born.  We left for a week long vacation to Traverse City, Mi only 30 minutes before she was born. Needless to say, I made Josh cut our vacation a little short and we came home Friday!

My Sister in law and I had a blast yesterday, taking Riley's first baby pictures! Here are some of my favorites:

She was amazing during the photo shoot.  Didn't cry or fuss, we could mold her anyway we wanted!  She is going to be a model!
