Lunch Photography : Spring Lakes Park : Day2

I headed over to Spring Lake Park again yesterday with some guys from work. While they walked around looking for different birds to photograph, I hunted for cool lighting and color. Autumn is my favorite season, I love all the warm colors. It's my favorite color compensations: reds, oranges, blues and greens. Today while shooting I wanted to concentrate on really composing the image and what is going going on in the frame. I often took up to four images of the same shot. I really wanted to slow down a lot and really look at what I was photographing. Life has been so rushed lately, I wanted to just stop and enjoy nature. I hope you enjoy these as well.

Lunch Time Photography : Springs Lake Park

Headed out last Friday with a few friends from work to Spring Lakes Park in Bellbrook. I'd never been there before but it's a really great park. They have two different ponds that are fully stocked with fish and lots of wild life. The park is so beautiful, I can't wait to take a family their for some family portraits. All the leaves were starting to change. I had a great time trying out my friends zoom lens. I attempted to catch some birds farther away or in flight but I would definitely need some more practice. It was really fun to watch a few of the duck and geese follow us around the pond as we shot. These are a few of my favorites! Looking forward to getting out and shooting more this year.

Spencer : Wegerzyn Garden's

I had a senior session last Sunday at Wegerzyn Garden's and my nephew Spencer joined me. He was a huge help in searching for locations that would have great lighting. He even let me take some pictures of him. Well, maybe more than some. He is pretty photogenic. It's hard to believe he is 16 already. Spencer is an amazing and hopefully he will continue to love photograph. Thanks for you help Spencer! You can shadow me anytime.

Matt + Krystine : Dayton Art Institute

These two have to be two of the cutest people in the whole world. We had so much fun taking their engagement pictures at the Dayton Art Institute. You can definitely see the love between the two of them, beautiful both inside and out. These are just a few of my many favorites from this photo shoot. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them :)
