Spooktacular Fun {The Skeens and the Smiths visit Windmill Farm Market}

We had a blast today visiting Windmill Farm Market with Rodger, Val and Leo. It was a gorgeous afternoon with perfect fall weather. Before we left, Natalie had to play in the leaves.
If you have never been to Windmill Farm Market, it is a great place to take the family, although it may be better for older kids. They have a hayride (we didn't do this), live animals, wood crafted play trains and pirate ships for the kiddos to play on and slide down. They also have a great little market with lots of yummy treats. We sampled the apple cider slushy, giant pickle and kettle corn. I think Natalie enjoyed the small ceramic deer and the wrought-iron bridge the best. Leo seemed to like the pumpkins and driving the wooden train.

Baby Emme {9 Months}

Baby Emme is nine months. Time sure is going by so fast. We had an adventure this time at the Beavercreek Wetlands. Between the gun shots and the slippery frog jumping on my feet, I think we got some great images of Emme. She was a trooper through the whole thing. If you are going to take pictures at the Beavercreek Wetlands, remember you can hear the hunters from the walk ways off Fairgrounds road. As soon as we got out of the car, we heard them go off. I assured Megan and our friend Kevin that we were safe and we heading down the path to take Emme's pictures. Emme was hamming it up for the camera, as usual, when something slippery and slimy jumped on my foot. Not knowing what it was, I jumped and screamed, leaving Emme laughing on her blanket. Let's just say I was a little shaken up during this session. Even so, I'm in love with Emme's 9 month pictures. She is growing up so fast. Here are a few of my favorites.
