Natalie's first trip to the Zoo

Natalie went on her first trip to the Columbus Zoo this week. Even through all the tears, I think she had a great time. We went with a big group of friends and got there early. It was a perfect summer day, not very hot or sunny. We started our day off by heading to Africa to see the Lions, Jaguars and most importantly the Giraffe. Natalie's favorite animal is a Giraffe. Natalie didn't like the train ride but it was her nap time. Once we got to the animals she started to have a good time.

 After Africa we headed over to North America and the Aquarium. I loved getting to see the polar bear swim from above and below.

Definitly had to stop for a quick picture with a Moose, Mom's favorite animal.
Then off to the petting zoo to see some goats. Natalie wasn't sure at first but with some help from our friends Madison and Megan, she finally touched a goat.
My nephew Spencer is always ready to smile for the camera.
After lunch, we headed to Australia to see the Kangaroo's, Koala's and birds.

And Natalie had to take a cat nap.

Finally it was over to Asia to see the Gorilla's, Monkey's and Tigers.

Spencer hamming it up for the camera again.

My new favorite animal, the Red Panda.
Snack time!

It was a pretty awesome day at the Zoo. I can't wait to take Natalie back.

Baby Emme {six months}

Baby Emme is 6 months! Even though we had to move the session indoors due to the rain on Saturday morning, we were able to get some fantastic pictures. Miss Emme can now sit up on her own, roll over and gives tons of smiles. I just love getting to take her pictures every month and seeing how much she has changed. These are a few of my favorites from our monthly session.

June Pool Day's : Cousins

These two girls are going to grow up to be best friends (hopefully!). We are so lucky to live close to my parents and my brother's family. Natalie get's to spend almost every weekend with Oma and Opa and her cousin Riley. This past weekend, the girls spent the day hanging out in the pool at Oma and Opa's and I think they had a blast. Riley has always seemed to love the water but Natalie has a love hate relationship it. She loves to play in it but hates to get her hair wet. Pool time has started to help with bath time. She will now lay on her belly or back and splash around. The girls gave each other lots of hugs and kisses. And what one girl wanted to do, the other had to follow. Best friends in the making.
