Columbus Zoo

Mom, Dad and I took the girls to the Columbus Zoo last Friday. We all had so much fun! The girls were great. We started our day off by going to the reptile house. We saw lots of different snakes, turtles and iguanas. I'm not the biggest fan of reptiles but the girls seemed okay. Natalie even touched a corn snake, which surprised me.

After the reptile house, we went and saw the monkeys and gorillas. It was snack time for the gorillas. Natalie thought it was pretty cool that they were eating celery.

After the monekys and gorillas, we headed over to the Australia part of the zoo. We got to see some cool birds, kangaroos and koala bear. The kangaroos and koala bear were pretty sleep though since it was so hot outside.

After a long day in the hot sun, we finally got to see my favorite animal, the red panda. They were out eating and playing but soon decided it was also nap time and headed for the trees.

On the way home from the zoo, we decided to try one of my dad's favorite pizza places called Benny's Pizza which was amazing! They give you popcorn to munch on before your pizza arrives. They girls thought that was the best. It was a perfect end to a great day! Can't wait to go back.

Boonshoft Museum of Discovery : Family Free Night

Tonight the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery had a family free night. After a quick delicious dinner, we headed to the museum! There is so much to discover and play with at the Boonshoft. It's so much fun to see Natalie's eyes light up and lead us around the museum. She loves to play in the water, see the cool animals and pretend play in the grocery store.
