About Me

Hi, I’m Meredith, a Dayton‑based photographer with a passion for capturing stories, personalities, and the beautiful in‑between moments that make each person one of a kind. For me, photography isn’t just about taking a picture — it’s about honoring the season of life someone is in, creating images that feel true to who they are, and making the entire experience relaxed, personal, and fun.

My love for photography began when I was a child. My parents bought me one of those Barbie cameras, and I immediately put it to work — lining up my dolls, directing “photo shoots,” and running around family gatherings snapping pictures of all the grown‑ups (most of which had their heads cut off!). That spark never faded. Eventually, it led me to Wright State University, where I earned a degree in Fine Art: Photography, solidifying both my training and my passion.

When you book a session with me, you’re getting more than someone behind a camera. You’re getting a photographer who listens deeply, notices the small things, and genuinely wants your experience to feel comfortable, uplifting, and authentically you. My goal is always the same — to make you feel seen, celebrated, and confident in every moment we create together.

Outside of portrait work, you’ll often find me dreaming up creative ideas, editing with a cup of coffee nearby, or spending time with the people who inspire me most. I also have a deep love for travel and nature photography. Some of my favorite moments have been shooting at National Parks in those quiet early mornings or golden evenings. Yosemite and Arches hold a special place in my heart — those landscapes, that light, and the sense of peace always remind me why I love what I do. Being out in nature teaches you so much about patience, light, and perspective, lessons I bring back into every portrait session.
