I was fortunate to be able to attend the ASPP 2012 All Day Education and Networking Event in Chicago. It was wonderful, we had Chris Reed from the US Copyright Office speak about present and future copyright laws. Paul Henning and Jody Apap covered creative keywording for image searching. This was a great event for what I do as a photo acquisition editor at ACCO Brands.
As a photographer, I could just sit instead during our lunch break, so I grabbed my walking shoes and headed out into the city. I heard I need to try some Chicago Mix popcorn from Garrett Popcorn Shop and thought I would try and find one. Chicago is one of my favorite cities to walk around. I love the canal flowing through the skyscapers!
After the ASPP meeting, I head down to Millennium Park to take pictures of the bean, the interactive fountains and the flower garden.

I met with one of my stockhouse contacts, Starr from Alamy to have a drink and talk a little business. We headed up to the 96th floor of the John Hancock Center to there Signature Loung for the fantastic view of the city and lake.
