Christopher and Alianna

Christopher and Alianna

I had the absolute joy of photographing my two favorite kiddos a few weeks ago, and it was pure magic! Every week, I get to see these sweet faces at the gym while Natalie rocks her cheer and tumbling classes—it’s hands-down the highlight of my week. And getting to be their photographer too? Total icing on the cake. These moments fill my heart and remind me exactly why I love doing what I do. 💫📸

Christopher cracks me up—getting a genuine smile from him can be a bit of a challenge, but wow, did he bring the personality! Ham it up, kiddo! 😄 And yes, the deal still stands: one more smile for the camera and you get to sit on Natalie’s lap and play Roblox. Fair trade, right?

Miss Alianna might just be the cutest baby I’ve ever laid eyes on! Watching her start to stand and take those wobbly little steps is the sweetest thing. Her giggly personality could melt anyone’s heart. I seriously can’t wait to see her grow up—she’s already stealing the show! 💕

These little moments—whether it’s Christopher hamming it up for the camera, Alianna giggling as she takes her first steps, or just seeing their personalities shine—are what make my heart so full. I’m beyond grateful to witness their growth, capture their joy, and freeze these fleeting stages in time. Getting to photograph them is the sweet spot where fun meets purpose. 💛

Here’s to more smiles, more giggles, and more memories—can’t wait to see what magic we capture next!

Taylor + Anthony

Taylor + Anthony

Engagement Pictures at Twin Creek Metro Park

One of my favorite couples became engaged on top of a foggy mountain in North Carolina. When I received the ring picture, I knew I couldn't wait to take their engagement pictures and could hardly hold back my excitement.

Taylor shared with me that they will be having an elopement before heading back to the mountains for their ceremony in October 2026 and she found the perfect location. A meadow over looking the country near Germantown called Twin Creeks Metro Park. When we arrived, the place is gorgeous and the sun was starting to set for the perfect background.

After a few key shots with the meadow and sun setting in the background, we decide to take a "short" hike on the blue trail. None of us had done this hike before and thought it looked great for pictures. Little did we know that the trail was a mile long, through unmaintained foliage, in the sweltering heat. Taylor in her beautiful flowing dress and pearl strapped sandals was a trooper. This quickly became "not" the picture perfect engagement session she had dreamed of. We quickly found out we should have turned around before entering the overgrown tunnel that looked so inviting.

Luckily, when we finally made our way out of the "jungle", all sweaty and frustrated, the breathtaking sun was setting over the trees. We couldn't let this unwanted hike stop us from enjoying the view. Anthony grabbed the veil from his truck (pictured in the one of the last shots) and we got these precious moments as the sunset behind us. You can see the calm and love flowing through these two and I know that they will be each others strength in hard times.

I can't wait to celebrate with them and capture their perfect day! I'm over the moon that I get to be their photographer. We now know that on elopement day, we will not be persuaded by the tunnel backlight by gorgeous lighting and will stick to the meadow overlooking the country for our shots!
