This Halloween was definitely one of the best. The weather was perfect and the girls were excited. They got to spend all day together decked out in their cute Halloween t-shirts. Great Grandma Alta came to visit the kiddo's at Oma and Opa's. We let the girls paint their own pumpkins this year. It was a lot of fun to see them mixing colors and the difference in how they painted.
Then it was time to get the girls costumes on and get ready for Trick or Treat! The girls really got into it this year. Riley was Strawberry Shortcake, wearing one of her mothers home made costumes from when she was Riley's age. And Natalie was Minnie Mouse. We let the girls ring Oma's doorbell first so they would know what to expect. They got the hang of it pretty quickly. We went out for about an hour and made it home just in time for the melt downs. Nothing that a bowl of hot chili and a piece of yummy candy couldn't fix.
